Organic maca


PREMIUM MACA (gelatinized)

Maca is an herbaceous plant, natural of the Peruvian Andes (Department of Pasco and Junín), it grows between 4000 and 4500 m.a.s.l. Its stem goes up to 30 cm height. The tuberous root has the appearance of a spinning top. The native Peruvian habitant consumed maca for immemorial times to obtain energy and strenght required for his activities.
PROPERTIES
Maca's nutritional value is high. It contains 60% of carbohydrates, 10% protein, 8,5% dietary fiber, and 2,2% oils.

It is rich in essential minerals, selenium, calcium, iron and magnesium. Maca also contains fatty acids including linoleic, palmitic and oleic acid, as well as Polysaccharides.
